About Me

Welcome to Michael’s Tech Blog! I’m Michael, a student at Columbia University pursuing a degree in Computer Science with the goal of becoming a software engineer. This blog is where I share my journey as a CS major, offer insights into the world of technology, and explore topics that I’m deeply passionate about, including diversity in tech.

My Journey

From a young age, I’ve always been captivated by the power of technology to shape the world. Whether it was tinkering with old computers or diving into programming projects in high school, I found joy in creating solutions and exploring the endless possibilities of innovation. Now, as a college student, I’m thrilled to expand my knowledge and refine my skills in one of the most vibrant and challenging fields.

Being at Columbia University has been an eye-opening experience. Not only do I get to learn from brilliant professors and collaborate with talented peers, but I’m also immersed in a diverse environment that constantly challenges my perspectives. I’ll be sharing more about my academic experiences, personal growth, and the exciting projects I’m working on right here on this blog.

Interests and Passions

Beyond my coursework, I’m passionate about making technology more inclusive and accessible. As someone who values diversity, I believe that the tech industry thrives when people from all backgrounds contribute their unique perspectives. I plan to use this blog to highlight stories, challenges, and initiatives that promote equity in tech.

Entrepreneurship is another area that excites me. The idea of building something from scratch and turning ideas into impactful ventures is incredibly rewarding. I’m eager to share my thoughts on innovation, lessons from budding entrepreneurs, and maybe even my own entrepreneurial pursuits in the future.

When I’m not coding or blogging, you’ll likely find me exploring New York City, playing double bass, or reading about the latest trends in software development.
